HH SHEIKH MANSOOR FESTIVAL OPENS NEW SEASON AT WOLVERHAMPTON

The Arabian Racing Organisation (ARO) is looking forward to the first race of the new season on Wednesday April 28th at Wolverhampton. The seven furlong maiden race is the first of five races to be sponsored by the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Racing Festival under the Wathba Stallions Cup series banner. The ever popular series which supports the sports’ grassroots around the world has been a regular feature of UK Arabian racing for many years now.

The race has attracted 14 entries, with a maximum of 12 starters allowed to participate. As to be expected for the first maiden of the season, they are an interesting mix of lightly raced young handicappers and new horses making their debuts under rules. Declarations for the race are due by 11am on Monday 26th April.
