When you register for our services ·         Full name and email address

·         Your account login details, such as the password that you have chosen and set on your account, so that you are able to gain access to the website and your account.

When you contact us or we contact you or you take part in surveys or questionnaires about our services ·         Information that you provide about yourself any time you contact us about our services (for example, your name, email address and contact details), including by phone, email or post or when you contact us through social media.

Will I be contacted for marketing purposes?

Yes it is possible on occasion through newsletters where the ARO racing programme may include member offers.

ARO tailor communications that you receive based on information required. We want to ensure that we provide you with relevant communications relating to ARO services, and if applicable Racecourses. It’s easy to change your mind in relation to ARO communications. Do you share my data with other organisations?

We only share your personal information with others if – You ask us to or give us your permission to share it  or ARO engage in a corporate activity, such as a sale, transfer, merger or re-organisation of ARO business.

In exceptional circumstances, we may share your information without your permission if we reasonably believe you might be breaking the law, for example on hate speech, and such disclosure is allowed under the relevant laws, including Data Protection law.

When we share your data outside of ARO we will:

Can I change or delete my data?

Absolutely, you can change the data that we hold on your account or ask us to delete that data at any time.

ARO will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes of providing services to you

If you ask for your personal information will be deleted from our systems it will be.

Can I see the information you have about me?

You have the right to request all personal information that ARO holds about you (and how we obtained it). This is called a Subject Access Request.
