ARO nominees announced for The HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Darley Award Short List

The Arabian Racing Organisation is proud to announce that 4 of their nominees have been shortlisted for these prestigious awards and have been invited to attend the presentation of the HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Darley Awards in Hollywood on 6th April 2018.

These ladies will be joining Arabian enthusiasts for a glittering weekend celebration that puts the Arabian racehorse on the world stage and recognises the achievements of women in Arabian horse racing worldwide.

The magnificent Awards Ceremony and Gala weekend will take place live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California and is sponsored by the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Flat Horse Racing Festival. Festival Executive Director, Lara Sawaya, will be with her team on Friday 6th April at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre where these prestigious awards will be presented in front of 3000 invited guests.

Guests will honour the ladies who represent the following categories based on their performances during the 2017 season; Best Breeder, Best Owner, Best Trainer, Best Professional Jockey, Best Amateur Jockey, Best Apprentice Jockey, Lifetime Achievement, Best Racing Journalist, Best Racing Presenter, Best Photographer, Best Endurance rider, Best Filly 3 years old, Best Filly 4 years old, Best Older Mare, there will also be a special ‘Distinguished Award’.

It will be a full weekend for guests who are also invited to attend the HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Darley Awards Stake Grade 1 at Santa Anita Park, in the Year of Zayed, the biggest Racing Day of Santa Anita Park Derby Day on 7th April and on the following day participants will be treated to the 10th Year Anniversary HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Darley Awards Gala Dinner at the Beverly Hills Wilshire Rodeo Drive.
