By Paul

1st
race The Bani Yas Square Maiden Stakes over 1 Mile
Yaqoot has been placed in all her maidens to date and was just touched off
at this track last week by the smart looking Namoos; she will appreciate the
step up in trip and can take this. Main dangers are in form Duffield’s
Maaloof, as well as other Smith runners Tuleekah, who was placed 4th
on debut and Ambrose, who was 4th here last week on his debut.
2nd
race
The Bait Al Wakeel Handicap Stakes over 1 Mile 6 Furlongs
Anganate Safinat is in good form this season and won at Exeter back in July
over 9f; trip and track should suit and he can take this. Main dangers come
from Brigitta who was improving with every run last season and returns after
a break, as well as Bibi Royale who will relish the trip and has been in
good form this season.
3rd
race The Penn Challenge Final Handicap Stakes (Final) over 1 Mile
Curupanna has been in excellent form this season winning all her starts and
is impossible to oppose, she should score again here. L’Escalou has run once
this season with credit in an Open TB race whilst Madrison has been over
turned by the selection but has been running well against TBs this season.
4th
race The Deira Handicap Stakes over 1 Mile
Angel Picamer is in tremendous form this season and continues to improve,
winning twice on the AW, at this track over 6f and at Lingfield Park over
6f. She was just edged out of winning a Group 3 event over 6f at Great
Leighs latest, but this step up in trip should suit and she can defy top
weight. Main dangers are Noble Athlete who scored here in very easy style
over 12f and has won over this course and distance last season, whilst
Aberfeldy was third behind Nokomys over 6f in Group 3 event at Great Leighs
latest and should be close at hand.
5th
race The Burj Nahar Handicap Stakes over 6f
Khadeer is a smart looking mare and won over 6f at Huntingdon last time out;
she should be able to take this for a third career victory. Dangers come
from Al Harith who has been running well all season placed in his maidens
and was third here last week over course and distance behind Namoos, whilst
Pavots Dreamboy won over this trip at Exeter back in July and has strong
place claims. Shuhood is also likely to figure.
6th
race The Jebel Ali Racing Club Handicap Stakes (Series Qualifier) over 1
Mile 1 Furlong
Billoube has been running some great races in defeat this season in some hot
maidens, coming 2nd to Hidalgo at this track over 7f and then
behind Marsak before third behind Petraunille at Hereford. He makes his
handicap debut here and will take all the beating. Main opposition comes
from Al Mamoon, a course and distance winner here last week when he just got
home from a fast finishing Nenette, who also should be in the shake up.
7th
race The Al Fahidi Open Race Handicap over 1 Mile 4 Furlongs
Marbaa ran an excellent race here last week when 2nd to Son Of
Sophie over 9f; he faces a step up in trip here but should get home.
Exclusive Air has run with promise this season and will relish the trip
having won over course and distance a few seasons ago, whilst Kings Cavalier
is in good heart and won over 14f and should make his presence felt.
8th
race The Jebel Ali Racing Club Handicap Stakes (Series Qualifier) over 1
Mile 4 Furlongs
Pavot Al Kyle won over a mile at this track and will have no trouble staying
every yard of this trip; trainer Delyth Thomas had four winners here last
week and this one should be her banker of the meeting. Dangers come from
Operatic who could defy top weight to take this having previously won here
over 14f, whilst Ajyaal came with a wet sail to win last week over 7f
beating Whisper and Dubai Day winner Pepita De Carrere.
9th
race The Palm Islands Handicap Stakes over 6 Furlongs
Unshooda won in fine style at Lingfield Park over 5 furlongs showing a real
liking for the all weather like most of her stablemates, she can take this
event. Sharka was 2nd to the selection that day and previously 2nd
to Trip To Khairo over 6f, he is running well this term and deserves to win
soon, whilst Benny The Dip was 4th in a competitive handicap at
this track last week over 7f behind Ajyaal and he should be capable of
snatching a place.
