Fakenham Racecourse has always had Royal
Patronage. HRH the Prince of Wales is Fakenham's current Patron, having
taken over the reins from HRM the Queen in 2002 when he opened the new £1
million grandstand that has been named after him. This small rural Norfolk
racecourse has traditionally always attracted a good sized crowd, and can
boast a legion of regulars who enjoy the both warm reception, pleasant
surroundings and exciting racing.
